For most of us ladies, we have grown really attached to our skincare routines. Some say it is either a morning or night ritual, a healthy dose of daily self-care. When I read these articles or see such stories I always wonder about the men and their relationship with skincare.
Now I know there is a small group of American men that have gotten into skincare without the influence of their significant others, but for inner-city guys like my boyfriend who calls Washington Heights, NYC, home, his love for skincare started with me. Since I was introduced to the double cleanse method, I associated my skincare regime with self-care. Apparently, it became infectious because he wanted products, knowledge, and guidance on how to start his own skincare journey. Needless to say, I was thrilled to get him started. These have been the products he has grown to love. Yes, he is also a big fan of stealing my sheet masks. I guess he’s getting me back for all the clothes I’ve taken from him, I mean borrowed…
