AND IT WAS BOMB.

Once I found out that XG would be touring in America, I knew we had to be there. We as in my sisters and I. Unfortunately, where we are located the venues nearby don’t host many overseas artists. Thus requiring us to have to make the necessary travel arrangements. (I get it but like.. it gets annoying and expensive.) We decided on the Atlanta show considering we loved our Monsta X experience and the crowd is always hyped. All I can say is WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW! I enjoyed the concert so much I barely took my phone out. Those girls are incredibly talented, beautiful, and inspiring. I felt proud to hold my adorable light-stick the whole night.
They crushed every performance, decked out in their signature styling. This sets them apart from other girl groups in the same genre. Jurin, the group’s leader, has often mentioned in interviews that they don’t want to fall into the J-pop or K-pop category, preferring to be known as a global girl group. I couldn’t agree more. Why would these girls ever put themselves in a box? Can they even fit in a box with all that talent? Every music video, the live performances or any appearance is styled to absolute perfection. The choreography. The lyrics. What group is doing it like they do?? I can ramble on about the styling because it’s always flawless, each girl shines as an individual.

I just want everything they put on. Please can I sift through those styling racks? Like seriously. I am obsessed with this extraterrestrial situation. It’s like an ultra-femme and badass all in one. This is just the clothes, don’t get me started on hair and makeup. I’ll relax..

The songs they performed are so fire, which isn’t up for debate. They combine their love for R&B and Hip-Hop in a very intentional way. Making pop songs that are both catchy and fresh, never fully losing their signature touch. As they have grown artistically as a group, their aesthetic exudes bad-ass girl power and confidence. Their movement is undoubtedly infectious, explaining why the crowd was massive and the merchandise lines hit the door. Needless to say, I ended up buying merch online because of this. Seriously though, if you haven’t listened to their music, you should check them out. These ladies are the ones to watch for I am telling you!
Where my ALPHAZ at?!
