Samuel Kim has blessed us with new music. On May 9th, he released the music video for his song “Rockstar”, and I am obsessed with it. The song and visuals share a similar vibe to his Now project, released in 2024, which is heavily influenced by his two favorite genres, R&B and Hip-Hop. Similar to his previous mini album, Samuel had a hand in writing and composing the song, giving it that authentic and unapologetic vibe. “Rockstar” is confident, cool, and somehow fresh in the ever-growing K-pop market. It is exciting to see his return to South Korea by performing the song (exceptionally well, I might add) on stage through different Korean music broadcasts. As a fan, I’m happy he’s promoting the song where his pursuit of K-pop stardom began. He is ultra-talented, and his stage presence is undeniable. Samuel always delivers, and this song is no different. He is well-styled, the song is catchy, and it is choreographed well. Another banger from Samuel, you should check it out.
