K-Pop Star Wonho Kicks the Summer Off Right with his new song “Better Than Me”

Wonho has returned with new music, and I am already obsessed. “Better Than Me” is his newest single since releasing “What Would You Do” back in November 2024. Wonho’s previous release expressed an entirely different theme, one that addresses heartbreak and struggling to become whole after losing someone. “Better Than Me” pairs well with the season change. Pairing well with the summer vibe, Wonho gives us early 2000s boy band nostalgia, perfectly fitting his style and suiting his aesthetic to a T. The song is catchy, confident, and sexy. Words that can easily describe Wonho and the approach to his artistry. The song is entirely in English, which was surprising but understandable given his ever-expanding foreign fan base. Wonho looks incredible (as usual) throughout the simple yet stunning music video. His effortless visuals and the streamlined choreography worked flawlessly to highlight his beautiful, soft voice. Wonho undoubtedly seems very happy about this vintage boyband direction, and we are here for it. Wonho also teased a full-length album expected to be released later this year. It has us as fans very excited for what is yet to come. Until then, I’ll have the sensational music video on repeat.
