How do you manage screen time for yourself?

I have been struggling with this lately. Mostly with my phone, I find myself spending more time on social media than I usually do. I am currently between jobs and find myself with more time to scroll, which is terrible. That leaves me comparing my lifestyle and feeling like I’m behind in life when I spend too much time on Instagram. I’m working on putting my phone down and doing something else with my hands. I will either clean, grab a book, or cook, focusing on keeping busy with tasks that make me happy. A habit I am working on is not touching my phone in the morning. Only to turn off my alarm, nothing else. As soon as I wake up, I shouldn’t be reaching for my phone, aimlessly touching apps and other things. Those are the ways I manage my screen time.

When it comes to movies or shows, I indulge in the evening. I get to enjoy a movie or sports better, knowing that for the most part, everything is done. Additionally, this allows me to limit my screen time without having to think about it, as I tend to get tired very early.
