Eliza Is Stepping Into The Darkening Green This March

Quiet, yet powerful. That’s the way we would describe Eliza’s music. It never shouts for attention — but draws you in with intention. And this March, she will bless our ears with the release of her third studio album, The Darkening Green.

“Cheddar” and “Major” are the newest singles released this year that serve as early hints of the album to come. The Darkening Green suggests growth and transformation. Green is the color of renewal, but “darkening” hints at maturity. Her last album, A Sky Without Stars, was released in 2022. And after giving birth to her first child in 2024, this upcoming release feels like a natural next step — a deepening.

Eliza has had quite a journey so far and has perfected her sound, blending soul, folk, and pop into something that feels both intimate and mysterious. Her voice has always carried a kind of emotional clarity — soft but grounded, vulnerable yet self-assured. Over the years, we have come to know Eliza, the artist, through her music, but there is still an air of mystery around her. She may be honest, but she is not an oversharer.

Her songwriting touches on themes of identity, love, self-discovery, and healing. She’s special in how she delivers those themes without overcomplicating them. There’s space in her songs to breathe and to feel. Eliza never disappoints, and we’re in for something special.

The Darkening Green drops March 4th, 2026.
