Manon Bannerman, a member of the pop group sensation KATSEYE, is taking a break from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing. The announcement came on February 20, with the group’s labels, HYBE and Geffen Records, sharing a statement of support for her decision and giving her the time and space needed to take care of herself.

The news inevitably sparked a lot of chatter online, especially since KATSEYE has been scorching hot lately. The group wrapped up their first sold-out North American The Beautiful Chaos Tour in December, then electrified the crowd at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards, performing their hit song “Gnarly”.
The rest of KATSEYE, including Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung, will continue with the scheduled activities. The group will remain very busy in the months to come, with an appearance at Lollapalooza Argentina in March and a much-anticipated Coachella debut in April.
Manon shared a message directly with her fans, stating she’s “healthy” and “okay” and that she’s taking time to care for herself. She also expressed love and gratitude to fans for checking in, saying she’s trusting “the bigger picture” and can’t wait to be back.
For now, Manon’s return date hasn’t been announced, and the group’s management hasn’t given a timeline. KATSEYE fans will be watching closely — but many are just sending their love and hoping she uses this time to focus on her health and wellbeing.
