While I respect several professions, there is nothing more admirable than betting on yourself, which is why I have always admired any art-related field. To spend years perfecting your craft and then dive head first into sharing your passion with the world takes strength, and to keep your head high in the face of negativity, judgment, and adversity takes perseverance. While those are respectable traits that many professions require you to have, achieving aspirations in this field and making a living takes immense luck and forging connections with the right people. Trusting yourself enough to push through and work towards a career in an art field is the definition of betting on yourself, so I admire it so much!
